I've recently purchased the two core Burning Wheel books, and I'm really interested in giving it a try. I'd like to find an existing game to join to get some actual playing experience. Does anyone play BW, and are you looking for another player?

Don't know of any active BW games in the area, but there is some interest. We are running a one-shot next month (see event description) and are looking to get 6 to 8 players. You are more than welcome to join us. I also own the books but have yet to play the game. I've heard rave reviews.

I got a copy as well and would love to try it out, either Burning Wheel or even Mouse Guard if anyone is interested in running a Kids RPG (maybe for the next generation of gamers).

I don't have any of it, but I have heard about it. Depending on where and when it's held I'd be interested in trying it. (The only thing is that I [1] have to be up early during the week and [2] am MBTA-bound, so if it's on a weekend in, for example, Pandemonium I could make it.)

I can, as usual offer my place - close to the Newtonville MBTA station - up, if we find somebody willing to run the game. So far I haven't had a chance to read the books all the way through so I don't feel I would be read for the task. Aside from the game system we obviously need a world to play in. Any suggestios?
