Introduction
Moved to southern New Hampshire (Derry) recently for work. The wife and I are looking for a good local group that we can have fun with. Prefer Friday / Saturdays or Sundays if we don't start too late.
What genre do you like and dislike to play?
Open to anything, really, but fantasy is generally good. Sci-fi can be fun if the "papers and paychecks" aspect is avoided. Pulp / superheroes always an option as well.
What Role-Playing systems do you prefer to play or avoid?
Prefer something rules-oriented to start with a new group just because collaborative stuff can be tough with folks you don't know.
What kind of books or magazines do you like or dislike?
Sci-fi. Even though the saying "90% of anything is crap" is true of both sci-fi and fantasy I can tolerate bad sci-fi a lot more than bad fantasy.
What TV Shows/Movies do you like or dislike?
Like: nearly all Whedon, Stargate, Farscape, Who, Sopranos, House
What kind of Role-Player do you consider yourself to be?
One that's generally on-time.
