Introduction

I love D&D 3.5, and play as often as possible. Student from MA hoping to get involved in another great game.

What genre do you like and dislike to play?

Fantasy is my favorite, but I dislike modern settings. Sci-fi's okay, but not as good as good ol' sword and spell.

What Role-Playing systems do you prefer to play or avoid?

D&D 3.5e is my favorite, but D&D 4e is awful, in my opinion. Haven't seen a good game run using it yet. I have some experience in the Star Wars RP system and know how to make GURPS characters, but not a huge fan of either system.

What kind of books or magazines do you like or dislike?

Books: Clive Cussler's "Oregon Files" series; my computer programming textbooks for school; all my D&D 3.5 books. Magazines: Don't really read any consistently.

What TV Shows/Movies do you like or dislike?

Favorite Movies: Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (the old ones!), Ocean's 11, Ocean's 13, Monty Python's The Holy Grail, and others. TV shows: Numbers, Burn Notice, White Collar, Macgyver, and others.

What kind of Role-Player do you consider yourself to be?

I love deep character plots, but also love optimizing characters. I always try and provide a reason in my character's background for why they would choose a certain class, skill, or feat though. I make lv 20 character builds in my spare time.
