April One-Shot - Call of Cthulhu

Many have heard tell of the Call of Cthulhu, a game in which every advance in real power brings your character a step closer to irrecoverable madness.
Strangely, few of my friends out here have played the game, so I thought I'd run a one-shot for players unfamiliar with the game system. This is your chance to get your feet wet and learn the basics.
Just remember: if no one's raving mad by the end of the session, I've not done my job right.
